What is a Diagnostic Laparoscopy?

A diagnostic laparoscopy is a procedure where a laparoscopy is done to evaluate your pelvis, and to look for diseases or lesions that have not shown up on a scan.

For infertility patients it is ALWAYS combined with a diagnostic hysteroscopy, and together called a diagnostic hystero-laparoscopy.
